Zero Tolerance Policy
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy on bullying, harassment and discrimination.
Reasonable Accommodations
We provide reasonable accommodations in the workplace and for our clients to ensure equal access to services.
Expanded Religious Accommodations
We expanded The Center’s Religious Accommodations Policy to respect the needs of individual coworkers regardless of their religious beliefs and practices.
Recognize Juneteenth
We recognize Juneteenth as a paid holiday: Peace, Love and Freedom Day, recognizing the full emancipation of enslaved people on June 19, 1865 – the first true day of FREEDOM for all Americans.
Cultural Competency
We pursue cultural competency throughout our organization by creating substantive learning opportunities and formal, transparent policies.
Gender Neutral and Anti-Ableist Language
We have integrated gender-neutral and anti-ableist language in our policies and practice.
CARE Training
We require and provide training for all coworkers on Culture, Access, Respect and Equity.
Continuous Improvement
We periodically survey our coworkers to ensure best practices in Culture, Access, Respect and Equity are met or exceeded.
Maintain Accessibility
We maintain accountability through our grievance policy and process, which ensures a fair and objective system for raising issues without bias.
