The Coordinating Center is pleased to announced the appointment of Richard “Rick” Wade of Arnold to its Board of Directors.

Mr. Wade`s  communications consulting firm,  Rugby Hall Communications, LLC  specializes in counseling hospitals, health systems and organizations in the arts and community service during periods of growth, change, innovation or crisis. He is also a Senior Counselor to APCO Worldwide, an international public affairs and public relations firm.

From 1991 to 2009, Mr. Wade was the Senior Vice President for Communications at the American Hospital Association (AHA). Prior to his work with the AHA, he spent 12 years as the Vice President for Communications at the Maryland Hospital Association (MHA).

Mr. Wade is also an experienced writer and editor, writing articles and commentary for national and local publications, book chapters and film scripts.

The Coordinating Center`s board members serve a three-year term.
