The Coordinating Center Appoints New Board Member, Yanfen Wu, CPA

Millersville, MD – May 31, 2024— The Coordinating Center is thrilled to welcome its newest Board Member, Yanfen Wu, CPA, CFO at Kranz Consulting. For nearly 30 years, Kranz Consulting has advised and supported entrepreneurs, founders, and funds through the complexities of building successful, high-growth businesses. Ms. Wu brings over twenty years of experience in the finance industry, specializing in taxation, finance, investments, audits, and nonprofits. Throughout her career, she has been an active community volunteer, serving as a board member and treasurer at her daughter’s elementary school, where she managed financial duties such as monthly bank reconciliations and annual financial statements. Additionally, Ms. Wu has volunteered with various nonprofit organizations in Raleigh and San Jose, including the San Jose Natural History Museum and the San Jose Children’s Museum. Her passion for community service and witnessing the positive impact of her efforts fuels her excitement to join The Coordinating Center’s Board.

After relocating to Rockville, Maryland, Ms. Wu was inspired by The Coordinating Center’s mission. “I feel like everyone knows someone who could benefit from the care coordination services offered at The Coordinating Center. Whether dealing with a chronic illness, complex medical needs, or a disability, everyone needs support. Having a care coordinator is vital to navigating complex systems of care,” said Ms. Wu. In addition to the Board, Ms. Wu will serve on The Coordinating Center’s standing Finance, Investment, and Audit Committee.

Founded in 1983 and headquartered in Millersville, Maryland, The Coordinating Center is a statewide, nonprofit organization that provides care coordination services for more than 10,000 children and adults with complex medical needs and disabilities and their families. Our mission is to partner with people of all ages and abilities and those who support them in the community to achieve their aspirations for independence, health, and meaningful community life.
