The Center’s Bridge Fund, initially called the “Crib Fund,” was started by coworkers in the early 80’s to help families and their little ones with complex needs transition from the hospital to home when no other funding was available. Today, The Center‘s Bridge Fund (previously The Family Resource Fund) assists children and adults with complex health needs and disabilities to live independently in the community of their choice. Since 2021 The Center’s Bridge Fund Committee, led by coworkers, passionate about the wellbeing of the people The Center serves, has fulfilled more than 568 requests, over $165,000 allocated.
Your contribution truly makes a difference! 100% of the dollars raised support individuals served by The Coordinating Center. When a client is in need of financial assistance, our highly skilled coordinators seek low to no cost resources to meet the need. The Center’s Bridge Fund is used only as a last resort when no other support is available. With 10,000 clients served year-round, it is critical that we grow this fund.
